A day of creativity and unity at GS Kitabura

As part of Student Rebuild’s Spark Peace Project, Green Horizon Ventures had the privilege of igniting a wave of creativity and inspiration at GS Kitabura in Musanze District.

The energy was electric as the entire school—all 2,500 students—came together for a powerful and unforgettable day dedicated to art, expression, and peacebuilding.

From the very start, excitement filled the air as students eagerly embraced the chance to share their voices and artistic talents.

The result? An astounding 156 creative and artistic submissions, each one a heartfelt representation of peace, hope, and unity.

Every drawing, painting, and artistic piece told a unique story—some depicting a world without conflict, others illustrating the beauty of harmony among people.

But the creativity didn’t stop there. The day was alive with uplifting songs about peace, passionate performances, and interactive moments that brought students together in the spirit of collaboration.

Laughter, music, and the sound of pencils sketching filled the school, creating an atmosphere of joy and purpose.

This event was more than just a celebration—it was proof to the power of art as a tool for change. It reinforced the belief that young people, when given the platform and encouragement, can become champions of peace in their communities and beyond.

This incredible experience is part of the ongoing partnership between Green Horizon Ventures/Creative Visions Foundation and Art for Change Rwanda, a collaboration dedicated to using creativity as a catalyst for positive social transformation.

Together, we are not only sparking peace but also empowering the next generation to shape a brighter, more harmonious world.

Because when young minds unite through art, peace becomes unstoppable.
