GHV, CVF partner with Rwanda’s Ministry of Youth and Arts to empower young creatives
Green Horizon Ventures (GHV) together with Creative Visions Foundation (CVF) have entered a three-year partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Arts that is dedicated to implementing the ArtsConnekt initiative, a key component of YouthConnekt, aimed at empowering young creatives.
Through this partnership, GHV and CVF are honored to provide training, capacity building, mentorship, networking and collaboration opportunities – all designed to nurture the next generation of talents.
Adam Bradford, CEO of Green Horizon Ventures said: ‘The amazing breadth of talent across the creative sectors is electric in Rwanda and this reflects the country’s youthful, positive spirit. We are delighted to work with our partners at Creative Visions Foundation to provide access to support, technical assistance and input to support their career journeys on a global scale, whilst helping the Ministry to scale this important initiative.’
CVF empowers creative activists worldwide to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change through impact storytelling – one of the most powerful tools we have for creating a more just, caring and sustainable world.
Kathy Eldon, founder of CVF said; “We are excited about the Arts Connect partnership and the opportunity to share Creative Visions’ core programs and services to help build a more connected community of young artists in Rwanda. Creative Visions was founded on the belief that storytelling and art, in all its forms—music, painting, film, dance, photography—are some of the most powerful tools for making a positive difference in the world. It is the artists and storytellers who spark social change, and it’s important that we invest in them. We work with thousands of creators, media makers, and artists worldwide and are thrilled to deepen our work here in Rwanda.”
